12 days since surgery

So its been 12 days since my surgery and I feel ok but want to feel good.  I started my puree (ok a little early) cause I just can't look at jello anymore and the broth is making me sick to think about.   The cream soup is going down very well, getting in my liquids ok as well.  I am still getting a bit of a pain in my stomach area when I drink water, I hope this is normal.  Can't wait to eat normal food even though it scares me. 

Weight is coming off pretty good as this stage as well.  I am getting tired easily but I think that could be the lack of real food.  I am going to try and go into work for a couple of hours tomorrow but when I sit at the dinner table my stomach bothers me.  Again I hope this is normal.  I sit there and then I need to stretch out on our lazy boy for a while so my stomach stops bothering me.

Staples were out last Friday which was very nice.  I did not realize how much they were bothering me until they were out.

On a good note, my husband is already starting with the compliments.  He says he can see the bone structure in my face, and he can feel my ribs.  God love the man, never said he could not feel them but made sure the told me he could.

Well I see Dr. Reed Jan 28th so I am hoping by this date I can tell him I am back to normal.  Not sure how long that takes but at least I don't feel bad.  Hope that makes sense.
