Yeaaaa... I have been approved for surgery!

I am soooo happy I have been approved for surgery. My surgery date is Oct. 21, 2008. I can't wait... I am not scared yet. But I am anxious. I would really take any word of advise for the before and after surgery.

That is GREAT!!! Nothing to be scared of. Be excited about everything you have to look forward to and to your new life!!! It is not a quick or easy fix but it is worth every minute of it!!! Before surgery get your mind in the right place and everything else will fall in. Email me if you have any questions. Good Luck!!!

Walk Walk Walk!!! After the surgery, even if you don't feel good make yourself get up and walk it will actually make you feel better and will increase how long it takes you to feel better. The gas pain can be worse then anything and walking will relieve that. It also helps with everything else. My Dr. had me walking every hour and it can be annoying but it was the best thing for me. So do what your Dr. tells you and you will be recovered in no time. I had surgery Monday and went home Wednesday. Find out if you can shower that will also help you feel better while in the hospital.
