Gregory Pittman, M.D.
I had met DR Pittman just about 2 years ago when he removed my gallbladder. When I decide to have the WLS, I called my insurance company for names of surgeons in my area who preform WLS, and was very very happy that DR Pittman was doing these now!
My impression was the same as the 1st time I had met him, he is great. Easy to talk to, I didn't feel "stupid" for asking any question that I had on my mind. He sat right down and I think he would have stayed there as long as I needed him to.
His office folks are great, I knew that from before, and the new ones are just as nice. Karen was right there on that 1st WLS visit making sure I knew she would be there for me, all I had to do was let her know I needed her. And now they have Darrel who I haven't met, but I have spoke to, and he seems just as caring and supportive.

Future patients should be ready to be treated with respect and understanding!

Karen and Darrel have answered any questions I've had about aftercare, and have give sugestion about after care. They also know that everyone is different. I rate that an A+ too!

They all talked to me about the risk, letting me know where I stood in those risk.
I would rate DR Pittman and his staff a 9+
I think surgical competence and bed side manner go hand in hand, I gotta have both.

    Hi Susan, hope your surgery went well today. Congrats for being on the "losing" side now. HOpe to see you soon at one of the support group meetings when you feel up to it. What a woman!!I'm so excited for you and hope to follow in your steps soon.
