February 16, 2005 I have been overweight most all of my life. This website gave me knowledge and strength. . My first diet was when I was 12 years old. My Mom took me to the Doctor’s office. I was on this diet for a year. After this diet I was on countless programs and diet plans. Hypnosis, acupuncture, bio energy (Mad Russian), Brigham’s and Women’s Hospital weight loss center, Atkins (many times), Phen-Fen, Meridia, Dexatrim, Slim-fast. It all worked, I lost a lots of pounds. I also gained them back with additional bonus pounds. It has been 33 years (I do not count my first 12 years)that I fought this battle. I tried each year many times. I never gave up. I am very lucky that I have unconditional support from my husband. Also, my sister is a surgeon (in Europe) and she is supportive as well. She is the one who told me about the Lap-Band. I am trapped in the body that does not belong to me and that I don’t want. I just would like to keep a piece of it. Therefore I made a choice to pursue Lap-bend surgery at the New England Medical Center-Boston. I am scheduled to meet with the psychologist (New England Medical Center) on March 8, 2005 I met with Dr. Tarnoff and my surgery will be on MAY 16, 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunatly, my company is self insured and WLS is an exclusion.

October 05- So far so good, down 40LBS

November 15,05/6 months/ down 45lbs (size 14)

December 18, 2006 /7 months/down 50lbs

February 5, 2006/ 8.5 months/down 54.5lbs (size 12)

April 7, 2006/10,5 months/down 58lbs BUT SIZE 10!!!!!!!!!

April 18, 2006/11 months/down 60 lbs

June 12, 2006/13 months/down 65 lbs

August 29, 2006/15 months/down 68 lbs SIZE 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

September 30, 2006/15,5 month/down 70lbs
