William S. Peters Dr Peters and his wife Robbie are both everything everyone says they are....kind, caring, friendly people! I felt comfortable with them right from the start. I breezed through the surgery and would do it again with Dr. P in a heartbeat!

I had the band put in 9/05 and started filling it at 6 weeks out. As soon as I got past the first couple (small) fills I started having esophageal spasms and could only get down crappy foods like soup, ice cream, chips, etc. Solids, especially protein, just got hung up for up to a couple hours in my throat and it was very painful. Tried numerous fills, partial unfills, rests from fills, extra Nexium, anti-spasmodics, you name it. When I finally couldn't take it anymore I had a complete unfill and the symptoms disappeared instantly.
I started researching my options and wanted to make sure I got it right this time. I wanted ONE more WLS and the DS has the best stats and IMO best quality of eating post op. I seem to be a slower loser, but I've read that that is common on revisions. Bottom line is I'm down 44lbs after 2 months and am loving the DS!!
