Dr McCloskey wasnt my first choice. my first choice was Dr hamad. like a week before my surgery date dr hamad had her baby. i could have waited longer for her to come back, but i waited 8 months already. (after all the 6 month diet, some other shit and stuff) so dr hamad refered me to Dr McCloskey and i researched her and some of my friends had her and they had no problems. so i met with her and i really liked her and so did my family that met her. her staff was very friendly too. when i met her she told me all the risks and had me watch a video on the internet as well. i was well well informed of all the risks. i think she is a excellent surgeon. her staff is great. she is one of the best surgeons in magee hospital. her bedside manner is great too. everything is great!!!!!!!!!!!!

my goal

well finally almost 9 months out. i hit my goal! I AM DOWN TO 145! woohoooo
now i have to maintain my weight and keep doing what im doing.
i cant believe its been 9 months, next thing u know it will be a year out! i feel great and dont regret the surgery. if i could go back in time i would have gotten it sooner.

im wearing a size 8 and i think that will prob be my size for good. unless i lose inches. i dont want to lose any more pounds. inches is ok. just not too much. i just need to get a ab tight stomach. and muscle arms lol
that will take some time i know! i wish it would hurry up

lol

well i hope everyone is doing well and good luck on any future surgery's and all that.

Wow! How impressive, Melissa! You have lost over 100 lbs in less than a year?? Holy Moly!

I am scheduled for this Thursday (sept 4). Hopefully I'll have some great pix to add to my collection in a few months. Thanks for blogging... its very encouraging.
