Started the diet
on June 8, 2007 6:50 am
Started the diet that the PCM told me to do. Using fitday.com to enter in all the food I eat during the day.  I am using a pedometer to see how much I am walking a day. Yesterday I was at 2700 steps. My goal is to increase my steps by 250 steps a day. On average a person should walk 10,000 steps per day.

Today is my 11th anniversary. I am so thankful to be married to such a wonderful man.  I hope a year from now on my 12th anniversary I will be able to wear some sexy dress for him instead of hiding behind baggy clothes and being ashamed of how I look.

My Story

My name is Christy. I am 32 years old.  I have been married to my wonderful Husband Jason for the past 11 years. We have 2 boys Jude who is 5 and Ezra who is 2.  My Husband has been in the Air Force for 11 years. We have moved a few place and are currently in Valdosta, GA.  We are orginally from Louisiana, Yes I am a Cajun and yes I can cook :)

My weight struggles began when I was about 17. All my life before then I was a normal size. After 4 miscarriages I was finally diagnosised with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in 2000. As the years went by the weight just piled on. No matter what I did to lose it, it never worked. Since I became overweight, I have struggled with High Blood Sugars, High Cholesterol and sleeping difficulities.

I am ready for a change. I want to be able to Ride bikes with my husband, Take hikes with him, Play with my children, Run and have a very active lifestyle. I am ready to take this journey to become a more healthier person even if it means giving up foods I love.
