Ranjan Sudan, M.D.
my first impression of dr. sudan was how much he talked and his interest in help the obese people he was short and to the point he was the one with the most experience and his nurse was a caring person in the support classes. the staff in the office seem to be very busy and they ask lots of ?????????he did'nt spend enough time with me i though i felt rushed and he really emphasized aftercare and so did his staff. to my knowledge he does have a aftercare program and it continues on for a year after surgery he did cover all the risk and the best surgery for me. he did tell me that the lapr. instead of the open RNY is what he recommended and i feel he has a good reputation and his staff seem to be great the support group has won me over and the people i met. his surgical competence is great i have yet to see his bedside manner.over all i feel he is the one i would like to do my surgery and all of my aftercare procedures. Dr Sudan is leaving omaha as of the first week in August and he will not be coming back he"s moving to North Carolina and a Dr. Frese is taking his place along with another Dr who thy are looking to hire.

SURGERY AND MY PROGRESS

HELLO EVERYBODY I JUST HAD TO UP DATE MY INFO. I HAVE HAD SURGERY AND AM NOW AT HOME I AM SORE BUT MOVING AND I THANK GOD FOR ALL HE HAS DONE IN MY LIFEI WAS AT HOME THE WEEK OF SURGERY AND HAD TO GO THROUGH THE REST OF THE TEST WHICH GOT ON EVERY NERVE I DID'NT KNOW I HAD BUT IT WAS WORTH IT I FEEL SO GOOD I BELIEVE I CAN FLY THE DAY AFTER SURGERY I FELT SORE BUT I WAS IN CONTROL OF IT NOT IT WAS IN CONTROL. THEY WERE AFRAID WHEN I WENT IN BECAUSE DR. SUDAN THOUGHT HE COULD'NT GET THE TOOL IN MY STOMACH BUT HE DID AND I HAVE ALL THE SIX HOLES AND A DRAIN HOLES O.M.G. I DID'NT KNOW SUCH A LONG PIECE OF PLASTIC COULD GO INTO SOME ONE AND ALL THE DRAINING I AM FULL ON WATER BUT THAT WILL GO AWAY SOONER OR LATER I HAVE LOST WEIGHT SINCE A WEEK AGO TODAY I WILL COME BACK AND POST MORE PROGRESS I HAVE TO GO TO THE DOCTOR TODAY AND I KNOW ALL IS WELL BECAUSE I SERVE A GOD WHO KNOWS EVERYTHING AND CARES.

hi all i just wanted to add a update i just started taking my golytely well i am going lotly i thank God for the time he has blessed me to make my self better. and it's all to his glory. i am scheduled for 10:30 surgery but they changed it on me it is moved to 6:a.m. in the morning which is thuraday july 31st. my tummy is rumbling form the junk i had to drink i think i need a diaper i feel so fulland over joyed because it is finally happening to me. i will keep you all updated

I JUST WANTED TO UPDATE MY INFO AND TELL YOU HOW GOOD GOD IS I HAVE FINISHED MY CLASSES AND I PRAYED FOR MY DOCTOR TO DO MY SURGERY BEFORE HE LEAVES (DR SUDAN ) HE LEAVES IN AUGUST AROUND THE FIRST WEEK SO THE NURSE FOR HIM CALLED ME THIS MORNING JULY 15TH 2008 AT MY HOUSE AND ASK ME TO DO MY X-RAY AND MY EDG AND A EKG BUT I DID NOT HAVE THE X-RAY I WAS TOLD TO BE AT THE HOSPITAL ON THE 16TH AT 3:00 P.M. AND THEN ON THE 23RD I HAVE TO GO TO DO MY PRE-OP AND THEN TO BE AT THE HOSPITAL ON THE 31ST. MY DAY OF NEW BEGINNINGS MT DAY FOR A NEW LIFE AND I THANK MY GOD FOR THE OPPORTUNITY. CHAT-LATER

UPDATING MY INFO AND STILL WAITING.

HEY EVERYBODY I AM DOWN THE ROAD A IT I HAVE TO DO A STRESS TEST ON JUNE 23 AT 9 A.M. AND THEN ONE MORE CLASS THEN I WILL BE FINISHED WITH THE REQUIREMENTS BUT I DO NEED TO DO MORE BLOOD TEST MAY BE BUT I HAVE NOT HEARD AS OF YET BUT I AM EXCITED ABOUT THE WLS ALL TOGATHER AND I HAVE BEEN LOOKING PERFUSELY ON THE NET FOR INFORMATION AND DATES AND FOR OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE SURGERY I WANT. I THANK GOD FOR ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN E-MAILING ME WITH INFO AND ENCOURAGING WORDS. IF ANYONE CAN LET ME KNOW ABOUT THE TYPES OF THE R-N-Y AND IF U KNOW THE MOST EFFECTIVE ONE. I JUST WANT TO KEEP GETTING ALL THE INFO TO HELP ME GET THROUGH MY JOURNEY.

JUST UP DATING

I HAD TO UPDATE MY INFO. I WENT TO SEE THE PHY. DR. AND IT TOOK A FEW HOURS I WENT IN HIS OFFICE AT 1 P.M. AND WHEN I WAS FINISHED IT WAS 5 P.M. I WANTED TO PULL OUT MY HAIR BUT I CAN'T AFFORD TO DO THAT I AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM THE PHY DR FOR MY RESULTS OR FROM MY SURGEON I FEEL MY ADRENALIN RUSHING AND IT'S HARD FOR ME TO SETTLE DOWN AT NIGHT. I HAVE TO MULTIVITAMINS AND VITAMIN D PILLS AND OTHER PILLS BUT TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THINGS HE HAS DONE IT WILL BE ALRIGHT (IN THE MORNING) I DON'T HAVE A DATE AS OF YET BUT I AM GOING TO CALL MY SURGEON ON TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY MORNING) ( SEENCHA LATER )
