Surgeon Testimonial

Constantine Frantzides, M.D., PHD, F.A.C.S.
Dr Frantzides was direct he didnt sugar coat anything, he told me the facts about the surgry and the risks involved. His confidence helped me to be confident in myself and the choice I had made. The staff was VERY friendly Jerry and Karen you are the best. Doc puts great emphasize on after care and diet and nutrition after surgry. This man is so sweet and loving he made me feel like I was his favorite patient. He took my pic and said he was going to make me a star!! Dr Frantzides,Dr Zenies and Karen made my progress possible! I felt so much love and support from them and felt we were all a team in this lifestyle change. I know I can call any of them 24 hours a day and ask questions if needed. It's now 11 days since my surgery, I'm 25 pounds down and feeling wonderful. Dr Frantzides and his team are experts and I would trust my life in his hands anyday. I will never forget crying the day after surgery when the doctor came to visit me..He told me not to cry for my new life , and if I wanted to cry to cry for my old life. I will take those words with me for the rest of my life. Indeed there are no reason for tears now. My goals are being achieved!!

Thanks Dr. Frantzides!!

Hi Elizabeth My name is Kim and I live in Antioch Ill. I was looking up Dr. Frantzides profile. It sounds like you really like him. I understand you have medicade through the state of Ill. I also have this insurance and it is hard to find a Dr. who will accept it. May I ask what was covered and what wasn't. I am a single mother with not a very big income. I am 37 and about 350 pounds. I am not use to this much weight and it has changed my life considerable. It's not easy when you have an energenic 9 year old. I am thinking about having the lap band surgery. I am hoping this Dr. does this type of surgery and of course the insurance. I hope to hear from you. I would love to hear any feed back . Kim

Tummy Tuck and Hernia Repair
on December 1, 2006 12:54 pm
Nov 8th I had my Tummy tuck/hernia repair surgery. I am pleased with the results and glad I did it. I got my drians out after 2 weeks, I think I should have had them another week had I had it to do over again. I have some fluid build up on my tummy tuck area. Dr says this will go away in time, although its very uncomfy. I have been wearing my binder as told and have not done any lifting. I really never had any pain..Thanks to the darvocet! Seriously it really didn't hurt just as dr F. said. Tomarrow I'm going to go to a seminar and show off and answer any questions people may have. I really believe in my surgeon and would recomend him to anyone! I'm glad I went full circle and had the tuck after the weightloss. I'm about 235 now, still bloated a bit, and very happy with my body.
