Two two land!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
on May 30, 2008 5:01 pm
Oh yeah I am now in two two land. (same as  twoterland) Beep Beep! Toot Toot! Ok maybe I am being  little silly but i feel good. Good about the weight loss and physically good. More energy, confidence ect. It feels great to be on the losing side. I went to walmart  yesterday and bought a 2X bright orange top. Although i was in a 4 car pile up this morning and my body feels like I been hit over and over again...well I was... twice i still feel relatively good.

4/7/08 Back 2 Work
on April 7, 2008 7:20 pm
Ok so I could not fall asleep last night just anticipating going back to work. It took a few hours of turning the tv on and off to finally doze off. I was kind of concerned to see how I would do with a full day back to work especially with minimal sleep. I didn't really tell anyone at work why i was not going to be there. I did tell a few that I was going to be out. I work in a large ofice with more than 50 people there at any time. The folks I know told me I looked "rested"-- "fresh". I did get the  'hmmm ...I can't put my finger on it' stares. I felt like the man in the male enhancement commercial (lol). I can't remember his name. Well anyways I think that was ok for 30 lbs. I wonder what will be said after (hopefully)70 or even 100 more lbs.
I was telling my daughter that this is about the point where I would relapse on a diet because it takes soooo much work to take 30 lbs off and then to have someone not notice. Back then I would have subconciously or conciously threw my hands up and head to the store to get me a carton of icecream. I do know from experience though that someone who is 150lbs at their highest doesn't notice a change in weight (in an obese person)unless it is a drastic change. But one thing that makes me feel really hopeful is the possibility of more weigh loss not because I want folks to notice but that is an added perk.

4/4/08

OK my surgery went well I survived it thank the Lord and Dr A and staff. I am now appx 5wks out and I feel good I have lost about 30 lbs (314lbs). I've been just really trying to figure out what works for me  as far as my eating is concerned. I am trying to get used to protien shakes/bars. Nothing tastes quite as nasty as a protien shake but i am getting used to it. I am suppose to be getting 10,000 steps in daily I get about 2500. I go to the park and walk around the most beautiful lake. The slim Jims and Jills will run past me about 2 times before i have made it around 1 time lol. I don't let that stop me from going. I am keeping my eye on the prize.
