Andrew Averbach, M.D. I first met him at the orientation for the surgery and he seemed okay. I later met him for my first consultation and he was very open and constantly asked me if I had any questions. Made me feel like he would be there even for the dumb questions.
The office staff have been wonderful. They always have a smile on there face and my first time there this one cute old lady that works there stoped me and asked me about myself and what kind of surgery I wanted. She was so sweet.
Well I was treated like a princess. The only problem I have is when they were transporting me from recovery to my room the ran me into the walls, the elevator doors and then the doors of my room. Okay I know you may hit one thing but come one when the patients starts crying from you hurting them. Chill out. My mom remembers the nurses I dont and they should be lucky that I dont. Other then that the food was good and the doctors were cool.
Amazed I cant believe it. I went to the doctors and lost another 9 pounds. I thought I was eating to much. I have been excirsizing on my bike atleat 5 times a week 25 min a pop. I must have pulled every muscle in my leg the first week or so. I am doing better now. I feel more of a pep in my step. Here is a question for those who have had the surgery. I am 25 pounds down and that doesnt include the lose of 24 before surgery and I still cant see the weight loss. Now everyone else says they see it. Why cant I? Will I always see a morbedly obesse girl in the mirrow or will it change?
I need help, if your out there and can help me please do....
Untill later God bless and keep up the good work..

Hi, I had RNY 7-16 and am down 77 pounds 25 pre, 52 pro surgery. I still do not see my loosing. This last weekend I bought a size 20 pants I was in 26-28 even 30 's and many elastic. lol. It was not until I bought these pants that I really saw a difference. I was wearing the same clothing. I can really see it in my face my shirts and shoulders. It does get better, but told it takes a while for our heads to catch up with our bodies.
Keep up the good work Tammi
ps: You should really be proud of yourself:)
