I feel fantastic.  I think maybe there is a new diet conspiracy....I think the doctors drug us...poke holes in our tummy..staple the holes, wake us up and tell us our stomach has been made smaller..lol
I am in no pain and I easily take and keep down my "current" diet of clear liquids..lol  Now, why the doctors would have made us so sick as to feel our first 24 hrs were taking place in HELL is rather cruel..lol  I guess that is part of the conspiracy..to scare us into eating smaller portions. Its working!  I tell my family my theory..they bust up laughing...but then, I laugh and that hurts more than the WLS..lol
In all seriousness, the nurse said I was one of the more pitiful cases of post-op nausea
and vomiting that they had seen.  I heaved, gagged, vomited, coughed and cried for 15 hrs.  Just opening my eyes made me throw up..tons of blood (as expected)...but not quite enough to warrent an emergency visit from a doctor I guess.  I must have still fallen within the pity guidlines.  As I felt better 24 hrs later, I  wanted to tell a newcommer to the bariatric wing who was having an awful time with her post-op time, that in about 12 hrs. she'd be fine..lol
...I hope my detailed event made you smile.
