Surgeon Testimonial Samer Mattar M.D. dr evanson originally did my rny on 8-8-07 and during the 6 months of knowing him he was very rude to me about everything-i been in and outta the hospital for malnutrition-ulcer that would not heal that caused me to have a revision-but dr evanson and i had no communication at all I had enough and i searched the internet and found a WONDERFUL dr that would accept me as a new patient and this is Dr Mattar he got my medical records and saw me the next day hes awseome he was very nice and his dieticians were very nice also i was very impressed---I feel like I was blessed to find such a wonderful caring doctor that is there to support me through this jouney-- Member Interests

my surgery was 8-8 07
im back again its been a while i had a revision on 2-26-07 i had a ulcer that perferated that needed surgerically removed they gave me another pouch i was on tpn for 2 months before this revision feeding tube i could not get along with dr evanson so i just recently changed to dr mattar hes everthing that im looking for in a dr he was very sincere and very nice his dieticians were great too-im very very pleased with my new change! dr evanson was always so rude to me and i dont no why?  well its been a while since ive updated so here i am 3 months out of surgery---its defintly more than i ever imagined i thought oh this is going to be easy wrong answere -i struggle every day to get my fluids in and i been in the hospital several times for low potassium and dehydration-the weight loss is going good i started at 255 today i am 182-- but the past few weeks i been getting sick after i eat not actually puking but alot of gagging im going in on the 20th to be seen for this matter ---its me again its now jan 10 08 a new year and so far all is going well i do meet with the kidney specialist on jan 23 to see whats going on with my kidneys i met with him already and he ordered a bunch of test for me to do before i go back to see him lab work kidney ultrasound which im doing today and 2 24 hour urine studys i collected my urine for 24 hours i was shocked my output was only 200 ml which is 1 cup for 24 hours? as for the weight loss im at 157 almost to my goal-my goal is 130-i started out at 255 5 months ago-its not been easy but defintly worth the good feelings that im experiencing and defintly has uped my self esteem-welp ill keep everyone informed later as i progress more...... 0 Comment(s)
