My Story My name is Misty. I am currently 29 yrs old. Have been overweight for about 21 yrs now. I started getting "chubby" when I was about 8yrs old. I come from a whole family of very large people. There really is not one person on my dad's side of the family that is thin. I have always been active, but I have always loved food. My whole life, I have been a carb junkie. I have always loved breads, potatoes, pastas, and sweets. I love pizza and I love a fat cheeseburger on a bun!! I am 6 days post-op right now, and those 2 things are the only items I have craved since I started my pre-op 2 week liquid diet. Even though I am not hungry in the least right now, those 2 foods still sound soooo good to me. I am hoping that this will go away some as my diet progresses to something more than liquids. I am healing well and hoping to see the weight start "falling off." Can't wait to see myself thin!! Everyone keeps telling me how beautiful I will be. I am seeking MR.RIGHT, so I hope they are correct!! |
