4 Weeks OUT!!

I can't believe it has been four weeks since my surgery!  It has been flying by so fast. I had my doc appt on Monday, and I am able to eat anything I want, as long it is soft foods. I am doing good getting in protein in every meal, but still having problems getting all my liquids in (including my protein shake). I just started my vitamins. It is crazy how many I you have to take.  I have my multi vitamin, calcium, B12 sublingual, and iron.  I have lost 36 lbs since I have started this journey, and it feels great!  I just can't wait until spring so I can get outside more, do some walking, play with the kids! It will be great!

I am really looking forward to the end of June when I get to go to Flordia to see my best friend.  I have not seen her since last April and I can't wait to show off my new look! :) Not to mention that my husband and I get to go on a vacation with no kids! It will be so nice, I can't wait!

Almost 2 weeks out!

So I am almost two weeks out, I can't believe it! I am doing really good. I have not had to take any pain medicine in about a week. Oh yeah, that tube that came out of my stomach felt like there were tenants on it when they pulled it out of my stomach.  It kind of hurt, but not to bad. My left side is doing much better, now it feels like I have sore muscles, but I keep getting a burning pain in my right lower side, it is not constant, just when I flex that muscle.

I can't believe it but I go back to work on Wednesday!  I am only going back for six hour shifts this week, and then back full time the next week. I am glad this has gone by so fast. I can't wait to get back to work.
