That's all I had to say really. I have called myself a slow loser all along,but then I realize it's only been 3 1/2 months since my VSG,halfway to goal?! That's nothing to be disappointed about. :)   My personal life is starting to improve for sure,talking to a couple of nice men,nothing too serious. I'm easing back into that world. Dating is way different now that I'm in my 30's ..lol.. Seemed a little less complicated when I was in the 20's...haha..enjoying myself though. LIfe is great !

So after completing my 6 month diet, my insurance informed me that the requirements were being changed to 12 months ! I have filed a complaint with the state insurance commission ,but still waiting.For now, I continue going to my supervised diet appointments. I am up to 9 months now... Sometimes,I just wanna quit. I want this ,and I deserve it. I hope this gets resolved soon.  I planned on being halfway to goal by now...         

 

I had visit # 5 yesterday, down 13 pounds exactly. That was my surgeon's 5% goal for pre-op! Yay me ! My back has been totally screwed up this last 2 months ,so it has been difficult to get enough exercise in. I pray the weight loss will help me with the pain !!  One more month,then my paperwork will be submitted. Hopefully I will get a quick approval and have my surgery before the end of November !! 

This is the longest 6 months of my life. My 4 month visit is thursday. I am 10 pounds down, 3 to go to meet my dr's 5% weight loss requirement. I suppose I should try and get a little more than 3 off as I have 2 more months to go ! A good headstart definitely couldn't hurt ,and it will be great to know those are pounds I will never see again !!! 

Just started my 6 month supervised diet. November seems so far away,but I am so excited and ready !! I can't wait to feel better about myself physically and mentally. I am ready for this knee and back pain to be gone. My husband is supportive, but I can tell he is worried about my physical/mental changes and how they might affect us. I guess thats normal,but I love him and I'm not going anywhere,skinny or not..
