Marylou, glad to hear you are feeling alittle better phyicially and that you had the dilitation done. Emotionally, time will heal that. I have waxed and waned with my emotions since my surgery and when I began to see, visually, in a mirror that I was getting smaller, I began to set mini mental goals. When I look at my stomach, I still see a huge me, but it does get better with time. Keep you that healthy healing and weight loss~~Peace~~Irene

MARYLOU, I JUST READ YOUR POSTING ON AMOS. I HAVE FOUND A VERY GOOD PROTEIN SHAKE AND GOOD PROTEIN BARS. I BOUGHT THEM ON THE HOME SHOPPING NETWORK. GO TO: www.hsn.com AND THEN TO SEARCH. PUT IN THE NAME: ANDREW LESMAN. HIS SHAKES TASTE GOOD TO ME AND THE PROTEIN BARS ARE GOOD TOO. THE BARS TASTE LIKE CANDY BARS. THEY ARE CALLED SECURE. THEY ARE SOY PROTEIN BARS. THEY ARE NOT CHEAP, BUT WHICH ONES ARE!! GOOD LUCK.

Dear Marylou. I really appreciated your comments and I am sure that in just a few days I will understand even more about knowing what to eat compared to actually doing it. God's blessings on your continued recovery.

God Bless everyone, especially those affected by the tragedy last week. I am home from surgery. I live in NY so wasn't sure the surgery was going to happen since it was one day after the attack. But it did and I made it. I updated my profile about the surgery. I am now in that confused stage of not knowing what, when, and how to eat. But I am glad I came here because I see many people share those same feeling in the beginning. God bless all at whatever stage they are in. Marylou
