Dr. Aceves and Dr. Campos go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, secure in your decision, and safe. I always felt they were there when I needed them, they checked on me several times a day, never let me lay there and hurt, answered all of my questions, and never acted rushed. Let me say I am an RN working in the states and many doctors I know could take a few lessons on etiquette and bedside manner from Dr. Aceves and Dr. Campos. Hello, my name is Michelle and I am a critical care RN in the state of Georgia. July 19th will be my 16th year anniversary in nursing and I hope for many more. I am married and have 3 beautiful girls. I never had a weight problem until about my second year of college/nursing school then started working on night shift (where I remain) and it has been downhill from there. I started researching WLS about 2 1/2 years ago when a friend of mine had success with the lap band. But the more I researched and new I would be self-pay as my insurance had a WLS exclusion clause, I discovered the sleeve. I knew almost immediately it was for me. Continued to do research and found the wonderful Dr. Aceves. My journey begins June 8th, 2009.
