I Said a Prayer of Healing for you -- body, mind and soul -- That God would bring you comfort to restore and make you whole. I prayed you'd be surrounded by His awesome love and healing. Dispelling all anxiety or pain you might be feeling. Finally, I prayed you'd be uplifted by His grace, and feel yourself enfolded in the peace of His embrace.

Woohoooooo!!!!I am so thankful to announce that as of today I have finally made it too the Century Club!!!! I am 9 months post-op and I started this journey weighing 242 lbs and as of today I am 140 lbs. A loss of 102 lbs. I am so thankful for God letting this surgery happen and to Dr Roc Bauman for performing a complication free surgery on 04/01/02.He's the best in my book..To all awaiting surgery, approval for surgery, may God be with you on your journey, because it is well worth it.Just trust in the Lord and it will happen and it will all be O.K. I can now go into any store and purchase clothes right off the shelves in a size 9/10. I am soooo happy!! If I dont lose another pound I am happy with me.I am now losing like 4 lbs a month but thats o.k too.I had my panni/Breastlift on 11/22/02 and Dr getz did a wonderful job and I love my results. Wow I look down now and I have a flat stomach, I havent had that in years..:) Too anyone looking for support and just someone to talk too, email me anytime I will answer. I want to give support to anyone that needs it, after all thats what we are here for on AMOS...Hugzzz

Hi Maria, I saw your post about life insurance. I remembered a discussion on the this subject a while back at OSSG. I just checked and there are many posts about life insurance. Go to groups.yahoo.com, then OSSG, and join. Then click on messages. There is a search box at the top of the page that will go to the archives for you. I entered life insurance and many posts came up. I posted something similar to yours about one of my messages not being posted while tons of others were...guess we should post about real meals or Oprah or Al Roker to get posted and get responses...LOL. Congratulations on your weight loss and your plastic. Keep us posted about how you are feeling. Merry Christmas.

Hi AMOS family, I am back from my panniculectomy and Breastlift. Tired and a little sore but otherwise ok. I stayed in hospital 2 days because i had a low grade fever and my surgeon wantd to keep an eye on me. He said they took a total of 9 lbs of skin and fat from my tummy..WOW I was 10 lbs from goal of (145) when I went into surgery. I am now at 149 lbs and I still have swelling, so I just might go well below my goal since i dont have much of an appetite yet..I am taking my Homeopathic Therapies daily which I think is helping my healing and swelling a lot.I started taking them a week before my Reconstructive surgery. They really helped me a lot so far. I can walk (humped over) without much pain at all..I go back for an office visit this wednesday to get these !@#$ drains out. thats the worst part of this surgery..I want to wish all going into any type of surgery this week a uneventful, speedy recovery..I am almost at the end of my journey of Morbid Obesity but I will be forever grateful for this board and the things and people that have helped make this journey an experience I wont ever forget.
