Got a Date

Yesterday was my first consult.  I've been approved by my insurance and now have a date for surgery.  I'm so excited. 

The only hard part is that I he said I had to quit smoking 3 weeks before surgery.  so, I had to quit last night.  I smoked for 20 years and this is not going to be easy.  But I've prayed for the LORD to cover me on this.  I've wanted to quit for a long time but never really had a reason to stick with it.  Now I do.  He said the risks for smokers, before and after the surgery, were very high.  I'm a single mom and it's a little more risk than I can take.  So I bought my patches yesterday afternoon and smoked my last cig before I went to bed.  It's bugged me a little this morning but not so bad yet.  I'm just going to have to white knuckly it for a while.

Well, it's Saturday morning and I have a lot to do today so I better get to it:0)
