I first met w/ Dr Overcash Jan 06. I like him, he was right to the point, answered all my questions..no matter how stupid they may have sounded & I found very personable.rn While waiting for Patrice (the insurance lady) He came out & was joking around with us in the waiting room. He's a nice guy.rnrn Patrice was great too, she is as sweet as can be & really works for you, trying to deal with insurance.rnrn I haven't had surgery yet, but I'm sure I will have more nice things to say when it happens in a few weeks.rnrn**** Well I'm post op now, everything went well, no problems. Overcash did a great job. He is a man of very few words. I didn't see him before surgery. I saw him a minute the day after with his little daughter. I was totally drugged, but he wasnt in my room for more than a minute. A week after surgery I went to his new office to get my staples out, he weighed me & asked how I was doing & then his asst. came in, took my staples out & I was done. Took less than 5 minutes total. I was told to come back in a month. So it was short & sweet, just how I like it :0). I totally reccommend Dr. Overcash.

I will be a week tomorrow. It's true...You feel better every day. I thought I was dying when I got home last Friday, but seem ok today. My biggest issue right now is "Head Hunger" I can eat about 3 bites of cream of wheat cereal & then I'm full....but when I see all the Yummy food & sweets  around me it's killing  me... & sadly to say I have been dreaming of food the past few nights.  But today made it all worth it.
My sister bought me her scale to borrow & I am down 14 lbs  since surgery. So that made it better for today. I'm not able to walk very well yet, my stomach & staples HURT & it sometimes if feels like I'm pregnant the way my belly feels & moves alot.  I will be getting my staples out  next Thrusday...so thats good.  Other than that I'm surviving day by day.

Well I think I have everything I need for the hospital.  Would you think I was crazy if I told you my bag is already packed & ready to go..Just like when I gave birth..LMAO...Well it is. I will be leaving for Ocala 1 week from today.     All I have left to do is clean my house & get as organized as I possibly can.
 I'm not quite sure what to do concerning my foot. All I can say is the foot that was operated on is..."ok".... not GREAT, but now my other foot is very painful. I can't walk much, a little at a time, so it make's a job like cleaning your house take sooooo much longer than it should.  I really should go get the cortizone shot in it....but the pain of that shot in my heel was soo terrible.... I would rather have natural childbirth again, than go thru with another shot in my heel.

I am going to "Super Suppers" tomorrow & will be making all these take home meals for my family to eat while I'm recovering...so that will be a big help.

I guess thats it for now, .........p.s. I'm NOT nervous YET.  :0)

Nov. 9th ~ My 16th Anniversary ~ We are going out to dinner tonight for my "last supper" kinda meal. I don't want to eat heavy close to surgery.. 2 more weeks to go.. WOO HOO.
