Almost 4 years post op..

I can't believe how the time has flown!  I will be 4 years post op on August 31'st, about 3 weeks from now.  I feel good.  I look good.  It has been the best thing I have ever done for myself, besides accepting Jesus and marrying my husband-I got lucky with him!  I am blessed.  I would do it all over again tomorrow.  I am very happy with what the surgery did for me and what a good tool it was in being happy with myself and satisfied with who I am.  Life is much easier being small than it was being large.  People are nicer to small people.  It's amazing how nasty some people were when I was 120 pounds larger.   The looks, the stares, how I used to feel sometimes.... it is something I never want to go back to.  I thank God that this surgery was an option for me and that I was approved for it the first time.  I bow to the HORIZON blimp when I see it on the beach now.  I love them so much for approving the surgery, and paying for all of it, that I went to work for them!  It's been three years I have been working there and I consider it my duty some days to repay what they did for me.  Life is good, God is good.  Bless us all. We are the lucky ones!
