I have had a weigh problem since I was 5 years old.  I was always the tallest and the biggest all thru grade school.  I did not grow up with proper eating habits.  Feel bad, go eat a cookie, did homework get a treat, and my grandmother whom I adored was always baking.  So, as I became an adult I still had weight issues.  I joined OA, and lost 100 lbs on two different occasions and kept it off for two years at a time.  Then I decided to have Gastric Bypass in 1998 well that was the OLD way, and it lasted for me about 4 years, but I got sick alot, and vomited.  Then I had some other health issues in the last 5 years... so brings me to now, overweight and READY to do something about my health.  I lost my dad last year due to complications from diabetes, so I do not want to go there.  So, my journey into a newer healthy me has began on November 20th (1 year anniversary of losing my dad).

I am single and life is good.  So, I hope to make lots of contacts and friends along my way.
