I go on Monday for my appt with dr szomstein, but it is 3 months post op...I am down 48 lbs.....I hope to be down 50 by my appt on Monday.

I am happy that i am losing weight.  I still eat wrong foods, but ofcourse, small amounts.  I am starting to excersise a little.  I got blod results back and my cholestrol and triglcerides were quite high...I will start taking medication.....

I am grieving over my mother.  Although  I am in counsling it does not really help. Nothing helps. People say time, but I am not sure that people even understand. ....I had a rare and unique relationship with my mother, one that many never have nor understand........

I am down all the time.  My poor beautiful girls have a sad, depressed, angry and short tempered mother. This is who i have become.  
I long for my mom.

Each day is going by and I am still very saddened without my mother.  I miss her terribly.  As a result my weight loss has not been as fast as it ought to have been.  I am down somewhere about 40 lbs....in 2.5 months.  I sure wish it was more, but i graze and I still eat the wrong foods.  I just cant eat alot...thankgod for this.  WIthout this surgery, I would certainly have been up about 25 lbs with my moms passing....i go for my 3 month check soon and i am nervous that the doctor will  yell at me......but i am doing the best I can...I am suffering right now without my best fiend, my mother, and I dont really even have the food to console me.
I still feel the surgery was the best thing i could ever have done for myself.
