Surgery went well.  I was released the next day.  I came home rested and Saturday was even a better day.  Sunday I was able to shower, go to Church and Sunday School, walk 20+ minutes and watch a 45 minutes fire work display.

My Story

I am 46 years old though I feel much older.  I have been overweight since I was 12-13 years old.  I have done just about every program out there to lose weight.  Once I almost achieved an average weight, but I was on Phen-fen and appetite supresants and I think the weight Dr. tweaked my thyroid too.  Well you can imagine what happened after that.  Up, up and away went my weight.  Down, down down fell my self esteem, not that I've ever had any good self esteem.

I have a wonderful hubby of 26+ years, three boys ages 25,23,and 19.  I also have two great daughter-in-laws.  No grandchildren?!

I am scheduled for lap-band June 26.
