Went for my EGD at RWMC with Dr. Epstine doing the procedure, everything went well. Just need my Sleep study then get to see Dr Polh again and hope set up a date for my lap banding.
Went for my sleep apenia study last night and couldnt sleep at all they sent me home at about 0300 am . So have to go again on 2/27/2007 this time I'm taking a sleeping pill before I go.
Where to begin , I am a 42 year old male who has had a weight problem all of my life. I have tried weight loss many times the most sucessful was when I was on weight watchers. I tried it back in 1990 @ 325 lbs and lost 75 lbs, kept it off for a little while but as soon as I went off plan I regained the 75 lbs plus. Over the years I yoyoed taking some off and putting it back on again then a friend suggested we try weight watchers again, which I did this time I weighed in a 327 lbs and over the year I was doing weight watchers I lost 115 lbs, this was great I was off all my medication ( I Have High Blood Pressure, High Colesterol & GERD) and feeling better than I ever felt before but then again, went off plan and regained all of my weight plus !! I now weigh 366, After long thought and discussion with Family, Friends and My Primary Care Doctor I concluded that I need to take additional steps to help control my weight problem.
