Eric Hanly
Dr. Hanly is an amazing surgeon! While he may not be as experienced as some bariatric surgeons, he has a top notch education under his belt and knows his stuff. He is caring and compassionate, explains things in great detail, and is very thorough. He is extremely easy to talk to and answers any and all questions thoroughly. He has wonderful bedside manner in addition to his competency as a surgeon. I would say his only downfall is his punctuality, I had to wait a little longer than expected at my appointments with him. My favorite thing about Dr. Hanly is his devotion to Jesus Christ. While he doesn't push his religion onto anyone, he is very spiritual and is willing to pray with his patients before surgery. This brought me a great deal of comfort. His program is excellent as well and provides wonderful follow-up care that gives you all the tools you need to succeed post-op. Everyone at the bariatric clinic is very friendly, easy to work with, and never hesitant to answer a question no matter how silly or stupid you think it may be. They return phone calls very quickly. They handle insurance claims for you and are very organized and on top of things in that regard.

Overall Dr. Hanly and his office offer, to a smaller community, a weight loss surgery program of a caliber that one would expect to find in a larger city. I feel very lucky to be a part of this growing practice on the Western Slope and would recommend St. Mary's Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Center and Dr. Hanly to anyone interested in having weight loss surgery!

19 weeks pregnant! We are having a...

Baby BOY! I honestly thought we had another girl on board, and I was hoping a little for a girl, but I'm thrilled to be having a son :) Now hubby and I will have one of each!

Our son looks perfect and is very healthy. He was moving so much during the ultrasound that it prompted the tech to ask me what I had to drink this morning! LOL Honestly I had only had water and two bites of banana beforehand.

The pregnancy is going very smoothly. Just wish my tumultuous life would follow suit.
