Wow it's been almost 4 years since I've had the surgery.  I originally lost 130 pounds.  I've gained back 40 due to lack of exercise, carbs and stress.

In the 4 years since the surgery I made a lot of my dreams come true... I now work professionally as a writer.  I got married... which frankly was never even a dream of mine.  Never thought I'd meet anyone who loved me for me.

I am back here because I know this is a life long battle.  I wasn't willing to accept that when I got the surgery done.  I know the surgery helped for about 70 pounds. The rest was exercise.

I know I won't lose much more without daily exercise.  Every day is a new chance for motivation.

Disappointed

I feel like everyone went pack animal on this site regarding the Cheri thing.  I had my suspicions and I put them aside because she had given me great advice about nursing.  I don't mind that I gave the money.  I do mind that we all went nuts afterward.

It's the only thing that works for me.  Without exercise, I think I'd have lost about 70 pounds from this surgery... still good...

When I don't exercise, I feel depressed, then I eat, etc... So... back to exercising everyday now.  No more a few times a week.

Log...
Sunday -- 30 min walk
Monday -- None
Tuesday -- 35 bike
Wednesday -- 60 min / 3 mile walk
Thirsday -- projected... cardio / weights
Friday -- projected... swimming

My Story

I had surgery in 2003 and lost 130 pounds.  As soon as I stopped with my personal trainer, I started gaining weight back.  I learned that this surgery is not a magic pill.  Gotta exercise.

Good news is that I am getting married in 3 weeks!
