Well I figured it's a new year, so time for a new "My Story" :) 

My name is Jennifer Rose Marshall, but I prefer Jen. :) 

I'm 21 years old, turning 22 in March 2013. 

I have been overweight most of my life. Although when I was a little girl (newborn-toodler years) I was very skinny, that a lot of people thought my parents weren't feeding me. Some even called child services on my mother! But I was being fed right and they didn't go further into it besides a home visit. When I began my school years, that's when everything changed and I began to put weight on. I suffered a lot of bulling in school!! ='/ 

In 2006 I was diagnosed with PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome. I was 15 years old at the time, and I wasn't really good at keeping up with taking my medicatons because at the time I was still "young" and didn't think it would hurt me in the end. When I hit 17 though I began to think about it and how it effects my future, and how I would never have a child of my own, so then I started taking better care of myself! =)

In 2010 I met my first boyfriend, Jesse. We met online and dated for 5 months. He came to visit me in April 2010 and spent a week with me, on May 1st though we broke up and I took that pretty hard. I stopped eating for a while, and I became very depressed over it. I started having unprotected sex with anyone who would sleep with me *sigh* I then started therapy over the depression, and sleeping around.. 

In 2011 Jesse and I started talking again. =) It was nice to be friends again! In April 2011 he asked me to be his girlfriend, and that he was very sorry about hurting me, and that he's never leave me again. =) April 17th he moved to Illinois from South Carolina to prove to me that he was serious. =) We have a rocky relationship, but it is nothing too bad that I cannot handle. =) We occasionally fight, but what couple doesn't? 

In 2012 I was diagnosed with Type-2 Diabetes and have since been trying to lose weight naturally without surgery (or in hopes of putting the surgery further down the road!) I have been having very positive results since starting my weight loss journey!! =) ♥

Currently- I am looking into starting college, and getting my education in! =) I'm also keeping up with my weight loss journey.
