Brent Steward, M.D.
The first time I met Dr. Steward I was very impressed. He came to the support group and gave a slide show and talked about every possible type of WLS available. I could tell right off the bat that he was very dedicated to what he was doing. He didn't pull any punches when talking about the risks of surgery. With a few exceptions, his office staff is definitely first rate. He is a very competent surgeon, I will always feel eternally grateful and eternally blessed that his services were available to me. He has a great manner in which he deals with his patients also. He makes every patient feel like they are his prime focus. He is easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. On a scale of 1-10, I'll give him a 50!

Member Interests

Dogs - I have a sweet little min pin named Dakota.
Photography - This is a hobby I really like but need to do more of.
Bowling - I have been bowling since I was 5. I hope the WLS will help me improve my scores
Tattoo - They are addictive! Just place them strategically.
Basketball - One of my favorites...but only to watch!

Hello Valena~~~Wishing you all the very best on your Journey to WLS!!! ~~~~You're Not Going That Way~~~~~ As you travel through life, there are times when decisions just have to be made. When all you can do is gather your courage and choose a direction that carries you toward a new dawn. So take a step forward. The process of change can be tough but think about the excitement ahead. There could be adventures you never imagined and wishes and dreams just about to come true. So keep putting one foot in front of the other and taking your life day by day. There's a brighter tomorrow just down the road. Don't look back- you're not going that way!
