I have been exploring the option of WLS surgery for over a year now.  After significant research and an on going life long strubggle with mt weight, I finally decided to ask mt doctor what she thought. I thought for sure her answer was going to be no way! After all about 8 years ago, I approached my then doc at the time and that was her response.

To make a long story short, my current primary care physician was very  supportive.  I am now scheduled to have the Gastric Sleeve on July 21, 2010. I have not been approved by the insurance company yet, however, my doctors office does not seem to think there is going to be a problem.

I cannot put into words how very excited i am!
