Hello,

My name is LaToya.  My story is so similar to all of yours.  I've struggle with weight all of my life.  I lost 55 pounds and I gained almost all of it back.  I'm up to 260 pounds.  I decided I didn't want to spend the rest of my life on a weight rollercoster.  That is the direction in which I was heading.  I decided to begin the process of the Lap-Band surgery.  I met with my surgeon yesterday and I am really excited about the results from this proceedure.

I'm an opera singer and I don't want to be judged by my weight any longer.  I also love marathons except I feel like I am carrying a sofa on my back when I run!!

I can't wait to have this done.  It is going to change my life!!!

Well it's done!!  I'm officially a bandster.  I feel a little sore today and of course I'm tired from the medication.  But other than that, I have no complaints.  God truly blessed!  I'm so excited about this new journey in my life!!  PRAISE THE LORD!!
