Surgeon Testimonial

James Davidson, M.D.
First impression of him was very professional but not so personable. He was very informative and answered any questions I had. His staff is definitely AWESOME from the office staff to the insurance lady, Linda, to Sandy his NP.
Before surgery he met with me and we talked about the surgery and he made me feel comfortable. I wish he would have visited me in my room at the hospital after the surgery though. His NP, Sandy came by several times to check on me and I love her. She is very nice and you will feel like you can tell her anything.
I would definitely use Dr. Davidson again and feel his experience made this surgery go smooth.

Went to the hospital last Wednesday for some tests and I'm still leaking BUT my doctor said that he can tell it has gotten smaller.  I was very happy to hear that and hope I have definitely turned the corner with this.  He said we will do more test the first of January and for me to continue with my feeding tube and try to get in more calories.  He doesn't want me losing weight right now and said it would be healthier for me to put on about 10.  It's hard to get in more calories than 1,200 a day though with the machine.

The only really good thing about all of this is the amount of weight I have lost.  I am in 16's now but have to mainly wear dresses because of all the tubing i have at my side and gut.

Thanks for everyone's support and prayers!

Lisa

Hang in there Lisa. I have been thinking about you and praying for you. It will get better. I understand about the dress thing...wearing pants can be cumbersome with the tubes. I usually wore pants when I went out and just tucked all the tubing around the waistline. Humph! What a pain!

Lisa,
I think about you often and pray for your recovery. Glad to see that things are getting better for you. I can't believe how low your BMI is, atleast something good has come from this mess!! Feel better.

Lisa, I want to let you know I'm pryaing for you and also - you helped motivate me when I had my surgery. I refused to throw up cause I was SO scared I would have a problem with leaking after reading your posts. I struggled through the nausea, and it was SO hard, but I DID NOT heave!!! Bless you and keep in touch!
