James Davidson, M.D. First impression of him was very professional but not so personable. He was very informative and answered any questions I had. His staff is definitely AWESOME from the office staff to the insurance lady, Linda, to Sandy his NP.
Before surgery he met with me and we talked about the surgery and he made me feel comfortable. I wish he would have visited me in my room at the hospital after the surgery though. His NP, Sandy came by several times to check on me and I love her. She is very nice and you will feel like you can tell her anything.
I would definitely use Dr. Davidson again and feel his experience made this surgery go smooth.
Hi Lisa, wishing you
an uneventful
surgery and quick
recovery. Remember
to walk as soon as
you can after
surgery and you'll
be fine. Lots of
Hugs Talia x
January 1, 2008 (178) Nothing much has changed in the last month. I'm still on the feeding tube machine and have the drain out of my side. I have lost 12 pounds this last month that I'm happy about but not my doctor. It's just hard to gain or maintain weight on that machine.
I go in for a lot of tests in about a week. My doctor is going to do an endoscopy down my throat and see how my leak looks. He then may decide to either put some glue from the inside of my stomach or maybe put a stent in the hole to help new growth cells to form and close the leak. I pray that when they test me next week all will be healed on its own and I'll be over this.
I want to thank everyone for their kind words and good wishes for my recovery. It means more than you know!
Lisa
