Surgeon Testimonial

Keith Kim, M.D.
My first impression of Dr. Kim was one of amazement. He wanted his staff to take all the prop's and compliments. He was just the one running the computer. His staff was dynomite and the program is top notch!

He stresses the after care and works to keep you motivated. You have all the resources that his office has, at your finger tips. He explained the risks of the surgery in great detail and it made me feel comfortable with the doctor I chose.

I would give him a rating of 8 so far only because I haven't seen him for the follow up appointment yet but I expect that to go as great as the pre-op and day of surgery did. He is really a great doctor and one that I would recommend to anyone.

Good luck! I know walking probably drove you crazy but you will be fine. By day 5, you will be motivated to do some shopping.

And We're Moving Along
on January 28, 2010 4:27 am
Hip Hip- Horay!  Things are moving along pretty quick.  They accepted my weight doc's notes and now I am moving on to getting my clearances.  I have already done the cardio clearance and next week I am getting my pulmo & chest xray done.  Then I have to go to the psych doc & then to my pre-op visit!  I'm excited & scared to death...lol!  I have lost a total of 20 pounds (though I can't get my weight ticker to show it accurately) and am walking a lot more.  My knees & hips and...my whole body is hurting but that's okay.  A little pain let's you know that you're doing something right!  Ok this is a shorty but I will post as I can.  Right now, I am out visiting friends and am able to get online to update everyone.  My computer lost the HD so I can't spend as much time on here as I'd like but I promise to stop back in at least once a week.  Be good gang!

The Waiting Game
on January 17, 2010 8:10 am
Hi gang!  I was strolling by to give an update on where I am at in this LONG process.  I have collected all the weight doc's notes and the letter of medical necessity from my primary doc & faxed them all in to the insurance adviser for her to send in to Medicare for approval.  I am not going to get disillusioned and bank on not having to go through the six month weight program.  Expect the worse and hope for the best is all I can do at this point.  I am so ready for the surgery.  I am so tired of feeling so tired.  My energy level is zilch, I have a hard time sleeping...etc, etc.  OK gang, not much to report really.  I hope this finds everyone blessed & sassy!
