7 weeks!
on February 6, 2012 4:48 pm
Got my striture fixed the 27th. Thought I hit a wall cause I didn't feel like I was losing anything but I don't think that happened. Weigh in tomorrow to see for sure. Finally feeling like I can do it all. Started at the gym last week thanks to a fellow, OH member and a kick in the pants. Walking 1 hour a day but I think I am going to change that up a little next week.
Left work to stay home for my kids and thought it was going to cause an issue but I think its been ok. I have been keeping myself busy and not sitting on my but all day. I will get more done when the warmer weather comes. Looking forward too it!!

4 Weeks! :)
on January 16, 2012 5:28 pm
4 weeks ago today I had my surgery. I haven't been happier. Yes I have had issues but it comes with any surgery. I lost 22 lbs since surgery. I can't wait to start working out a little more it will just fall off after that. I can't wait. I am hoping to be under 200lbs for my birthday!!! That is in June!! I don't see that being an issue. I need to just start eating a little different. Not getting a lot of food in just protein and the food I can get in right now isn't what I would like. I can't wait til next week went I can add fish and chicken things that I love along with veggies!!!

My Story

Well I have been on the big side most of my life but it was after my kids when I couldn't take anything off any more. I am a proud mom to 3 wonderful boys 5, 10, and 12 they are my everything. I wasn't sure if I was going to ever make it through this process but I have it only took 3 years. But I am doing it to be able to be here for them and to help my 10 year old in the future he has CKD and will need a transplant in the next 1-2 years and I would like to be considered for that. WLS was the only way that was going to be possible. I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life as well as the next chapter I bring to my family, who are all so supportive and willing to do all of it with me.
