My surgeon is with Southern Surgical, I've dealt with his partners and him since I had surgery in 1989. they are so wonderful and feel so compassionate towards their patients. I wish everyone could have Dr's like them.Their office staff is the best to work with, they are concerned and are very prompt. There is no complaints at all. They have in the past been very concerned about your after care and have even called to make sure things were allright. Their overall competence goes through the roof. GREAT JOB!!!! The only negative thing I can say is the waiting time in the lobby on your appointment date but, good things come to those who wait.

    Hi friend... you just go to your profile update top menu bar.... log on using your name/password.....th en hit the button......look for the link "I HAVE A DATE" on that page and hit the button.... Now you should see the place to add your angel name.... after you finish go back to the main link where you update your profile.... hit View Profile... and hit "click here for Surgery Comments" your angel name should appear there... let me know if you still don't get it..or there is instructions on my profile.... best wishes...

Well last week i finally recieved my clearence from pul. dr. I now have an appointment with surgean on Jan. 11 to pick my date Yippee Yahoo. But, now I'm soooooooooo nervous, go figure. I really should'nt be because I've been through so many surgeries. I know I'll be OK . I have such a good support system here at home, as well as here at OH. Untill next time.

I started with the calls. I called my surgen and his nurse said she would call the Pul. DR to try to find out what the hold up is. But guess what , she hasen't called me back either. I called last friday and today is Wed. Oh well. I guess my phone will over-heat. I'm not giving up, but I'am getting fustrated.

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I'VE POSTED ANYTHING . I HAVE HAD MY 2ND SLEEP STUDY DONE BUT HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING BACK YET. I'M GOING TO GIVE MY DR UNTILL THE END OF THIS WEEK TO CALL BEFORE I START CAUSING MY PHONE TO OVER HEAT. I'VE CONVINCED MYSELF THAT'LL BE AFTER THE HOLIDAYS BEFORE I GET A DATE. THIS GIVES ME SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO.

Well , the same ole same ole thing I'm waiting patiently . I had a pretty good week-end . We celabrated my Dads b-day Sunday and of coarse my Mom cooked alot of food which I did eat and regreted later. I  can't wait for my WLS so I can put all this eating behind me and start living a healthier life style. Will post again later.

Well, I feel some what better today. A new month and maybe this will be the month I get my surgery date. You all will see it posted every where when I do get a date, you'll tell me O.K. we get it your date is such and such a day LOL I'm only kidding, I'll only post it once, I promise. Until next time!!

My Story


HELLO,

            MY NAME IS DEBBIE. I'M 44YRS YOUNG, I'VE BEEN MARRIED 20 YRS AND HAVE A WONDERFUL DH. I ALSO HAVE 3 KIDS 24,19AND A 15YR OLD, ALSO A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AND 2 GRANDPUPPIES.

                                    I'VE BEEN OVER WEIGHT SINCE CHILDHOOD. I HAD A 12 HERNIA REPAIR LAST OCTOBER,AND WAS TOLD THAT IF I DIDN'T LOSE MY WEIGHT I WOULD DIE IN 5YRS. I HAD GONE TO A WLS SEMINAR AND WAS GOING TO START THE PROCESS. BUT THEN I HAD A SET BACK IN MAY AND HAD TO HAVE THE MESH REMOVED DUE TO A MASSIVE INFECTION.THAT WAS IN MAY. AS SOON AS I RECOVERD FROM THAT I STARTED THE PROCESS AGAIN AND NOW I HAVE COMPLEATED ALL THE DIFFRENT DR'S APPOINTMENTS AND NOW ARE PLAYING THE WAITING GAME AS SOON AS I GET MY DATE I WILL POST IT ON I GUESS THEY CALL IT NOW, MY BLOG PAGE. UNTIL THEN I WISH EVERY ONE A HEALTHY AND WONDERFUL LIFE
