Surgeon Testimonial

David Suh, M.D.
Dr. Suh performed my RNY gastric bypass in April 2008. I am almost 4 years post op. Would I do it again? Yes, only with Dr. Suh as my surgeon! I have gone from 242 preop and am easily maintaining 140 by keeping up with high protein daily. Zero complications and zero regrets.

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I have been heavy all of my life. Both my mother, my aunt and grandmother battled their weight. I see signs of obesity in my 10 year old daughter. WLS has changed my life and I hope to prevent my daughter from needing WLS to control her eating habits and maintain her health.

Wednesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench! ~JudyAnne~

Dr. David Suh is now at SuhBariatric.com

At the last Hesperia support group meeting (sponsored by Crown Surgery) there was very few people there and it was a bit tense.   Someone asked if Dr. Suh was still with Crown.  Did not get a straight answer from the leader and  were basically told there were some issues with the group.

Made a call to Crown Surgery. Asked if Dr. Suh was still with Crown Surgery. Got a very long pause.  Told them I was 3 years post op and wanted a followup with Dr. Suh.   I was finally  "redirected and transferred" to another number which of course was a dead line.  (Ok like a good stylist who may switch salons you stay with those who provide great services regardless if you have to drive a bit further.  Dr. Suh is worth the effort!)

Did a little Internet research. It appears that Dr. Suh is now longer with Crown Surgery and has his own center.  Whooo Hoooo!

I want to support Dr. Suh's group.   I will continue to follow up with  Dr. Suh since he is the awesome surgeon who performed my procedure.  Will do what I need to with my primary care to switch  and stay with Dr. Suh --- at all costs!
Not sure if  Dr. Suh will still be connected to the Hesperia support group.  Amber has an appointment tomorrow. She will get the scoop and pass on info.
