My Story

I am a 58 year old mother of 2 children and grandmother to 3 beautiful granddaughters.  I have missed so much fun with my grandchildren it makes me want to cry.  I always wanted to be a fun grandma, but ended up being an morbidly obese grandma that couldn't ride bikes, go to the park, go walking, play on the floor with them, etc.

I have wasted so many years with this weight.  I have finally decided I am no longer living like this.  I finally have a surgery date of October 20, 2008!!!  For the first time in years I have hope for a better future.  This is the short of my story.  I have read so many stories of the other people on this forum that mimick my life.  It is so uplifting to hear the outcome of their surgery and the affect it has had on their lives.  Thanks to everyone on OH I finally can see light at the end of the tunnel.  This sight has helped me more than I can ever say.
