David von Rueden
My first impression of Dr David Von Rueden was that he was a very person and he seemed very caring. He answered all my questions at the informational session. I was very happy that he took his time to answer all my questions without even rushing me out of the door. The office staff is wonderful and very friendly. DVR stressed about all the risks of the surgery he did not sugar coat anything and I was very happy with the time we spent talking. Then I met with him the day of the consult and he was exactly the same. Very kind and compassionate and did not rush me out of his office. He knows his stuff and I feel very comfortable with him and I know I have chosen the right doctor for my surgery. The aftercare program he has is well structured and just right for my needs. He has a wonderful bedside manner and he is competent so I am 100% satisfied. I would recommend him to anyone.

I spoke with Kathi Storm today the RN at DVR's office and she told me that all I have to get done is repeat my CBC & CMP blood work asap for my surgery on the 6th.. I am so excited all over again just 11 more days to go. Yipppeeee!
So on Monday I will go get my blood work done.

I am 41 years old today.  Wow time sure flies.  I remember when I was just 16 years old as if it was yesterday. lol

Just 17 more days until my surgery!! What a great birthday gift I will be giving to myself. :-)

Today I had my counseling session with Ann at GBMC.  It was good to talk to her I really liked our session and my next appointment to see her is March 2nd.

Well, I have been pretty calm about everything and just counting down my days.  I can't wait until March 6th gets here I am so ready!

My bag is still packed from before and I ordered some samples from unjury and some chicken broth from there too so I can try it after surgery. ;-)

February 5th Surgery has been postponed!!

I have strep throat. I have been battling a sore throat stuffy/runny nose since about 1 week and a half. :-( I am a bit upset with myself because I should have gotten checked before and I could have been on antibiotics for 1 week and been ok for surgery tomorrow.

Here's the blower I have been rescheduled for March 6th.

I am a bit bummed but I am thankful that I got checked out I can get the strep gone and hopefully a month should fly by quick enough.

The positive thing of all this is that I have an awesome surgeon and he would not let anything wrong happen to me.   

Well I guess I will be having a good Valentine and Birthday 2-17 dinners before I get the surgery.  lol :-)
