Surgeon Testimonial David Von Rueden, M.D. My first impression of Dr David Von Rueden was that he was a very person and he seemed very caring. He answered all my questions at the informational session. I was very happy that he took his time to answer all my questions without even rushing me out of the door. The office staff is wonderful and very friendly. DVR stressed about all the risks of the surgery he did not sugar coat anything and I was very happy with the time we spent talking. Then I met with him the day of the consult and he was exactly the same. Very kind and compassionate and did not rush me out of his office. He knows his stuff and I feel very comfortable with him and I know I have chosen the right doctor for my surgery. The aftercare program he has is well structured and just right for my needs. He has a wonderful bedside manner and he is competent so I am 100% satisfied. I would recommend him to anyone. Member Interests

I am thankful for all my blessings!!
Everything has been going great. I can't believe that it has been almost 15 months since I had my RNY. It feels like it was just yesterday. I am down 92 1/2 pounds and I only have 7 pounds left to go. That is my surgeon's goal. I would love to reach 140 but he insists to get to 150 and then later the rest will come off with the extra skin whenever I have that done. Right now I am enjoying my little girl and I am nursing her so no surgeries anytime soon. She refuses to take a bottle and I don't have the heart to wean her off in the next 3 months or so. I will most likely wait until she turns 1 or 1 1/2 to wean so that I can get ready for the next step in my WL journey. My one year blood work came back perfect. No deficits anywhere!! Yay! I take my vitamins religiously.... Please do the same for your sake. Great news.............. Gino and I are HOMEOWNERS! We purchased a house in Charles Town, WV. It is only 1 hour away from where we live now. So when I am wanting to meet with friends I can always drive back this way. Also we live 5 minutes from the Charles Town Race Track & Slots so whomever comes into town and wants to visit we would be happy to see you!! lol Our house is huge 5 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths a huge basement with a rough in for a full bathroom that we will put in sometime next year. The basement is partially finished. The room that is not finished Gino will convert it into an entertainment room. The house is 4,000 sq ft with a formal living room, family room, den and dining room. the kitchen is pretty and big, the yard is .33 acre so the kids have space to run. We plan to put in an inground pool sometime in the future. The house is beautiful and we are so in love with it. We can not wait to make this move. We leave on June 21st!!!  In our new master bath..  The kids having fun!!  Our Kitchen  Our family room  My loving husband and I  I could not be happier! I am so glad that all is going great in my life in every which way. Life is Good! I take that back!! You DID say that you were a grandmother!! HOW!?!?! Well, I KNOW how, but, you look WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY too young to be a grandmom!
