Surgeon Testimonial

Paul J. Guske
Dr.Guske and his partners are great. From my first impression of him to how I feel about him now, he has the best bedside manner and really cares about his patients. His office staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable. I have no complaints. I just wish that I would have seen him more while in the hospital but from a nurses perspective, I know that docs need to rotate who rounds on patients. He did surprise me one night post-op and stop in, while I thought it would be Dr.Kane. His nurse practitioners are also very good and knowledgeable. Their office stresses the importance of aftercare and support groups. I personally have had no complications and if I had any questions about risks, they were all addressed very thoroughly. I give Dr.Guske and his staff at the Kane center a 9.5. He had a great bedside manner and is very competant when it comes to caring for me.

Time to regroup and start over.

I did it again, fell off the wagon.  I have to find a way to get around eating those carbs that go down tooooo easily.  I did eat a lot more veggies yesterday in an attempt to avoid them but got lazy in the evening when I was tired after the gym and before dinner was done cooking.  I need to make healthier choices and I am going to do it right today.  I will try a protein shake instead of empty or easy to get carbs.  I need to continue coming back to this web-site and remember my goal:  lose most all my weight by my 50th birthday.  That is October 25 of this year.  I have about 30 pounds to go.  With support and focusing I know that I can do it.        "God helps those who help themselves"
