My Story

Well like most I have been struggling to keep my weight under control since around 18 yrs old.  I was always around 225 and as high as 260 at times.  But I would work out on and off due to getting bored with working out.

Well then I became type 2 diabetic, gained more weight, developed sleep apnea etc. Then I became hypo thyroid and got on meds to slow it down and gained more weight. Then they did the radio active iodine to destroy my thyroid and I went on the horomone replacement which I have been on for 2 yrs now.

Today im 256lb and want to get the ball rolling.  My sister had the bypass surgery 2 yrs ago, and I don't want to wake up one day weighing 300lb pounds saying I wished I would of done this sooner.

So at this point, I have my family doctors approval and he sent in the letter, I have my seminar scheduled for July 12th 2011 and my phycologist booked July 13th and hope to keep moving forward so I can get healthy.

Im looking to learn from others on this site their stories good and bad and taking things one day at a time
