I REALLY DO LIKE MY SURGEON HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CARING TO MY NEEDS. ALWAYS TOOK EXTRA TIME IN EXPLAINING HIMSELF ABOUT WHY HE NEEDED TO DO THINGS DIFFERENT IN MY CASE.HE IS A VERY INTELLEGENT MAN THAT HAS WROTE MANY MEDICAL PAPERS AND TEACHES OTHER DOCTORS AND IS WORLD RENOWN IN WHAT HE DOES. I HAVE SEEN MANY OTHER SPECIALTY DOCTORS WHO COULDNT HELP ME AND HE DIAGNOSED MY PROBLEM IN MY FIRST VISIT AND REALLY IMPROVED MY QUALITY OF LIFE. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 12 YEARS I AM NO LOGER VOMITING MY FOOD AND NO LONGER HAVE A SEVERE CASE OF GERD. I DO HOWEVER DO NOT LIKE THAT WHEN U SEE THIS PHYSCIAN U DO HAVE TO WAIT SOMETIMES OVER AN HOUR! THE REST OF THE STAFF AT THE CLEVELAND CLINIC WAS GREAT. I DO HOWEVER DO NOT GIVE ANY HIGH MARKS IN THE PSYCH DEPARTMENT WHO NOT ONLY HELD UP MY SURGERY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS BUT DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THINGS IN A TIMELY OR COURTESY MANNER. NOT ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVE THIS TYPE OF SURGERY IS FOR WEIGHT LOSS BUT FOR MEDICAL CONDITIONS WHICH THEY TOTALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND. THE DEPT PUTS EVERYONE IN THE SAME CATAGORY AND IS UNABLE TO THINK OTHER WISE. DR SCHAUER HAS A GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER AND IS VERY COMPETENT IN HIS WORK THAT IS WHY HE IS WORLD RENOWN IN BARACTRIC SURGERY.........THANKS DR SCHAUER

its been awhile

its been a long time since i have posted but i am feeling great since my ps. i look 100% better. i still have some swelling but went from a size 10 to a size 4!!!! my size 4 are starting to get a liilte loose since my swelling starting to go down. went to see dr schauer and told me is is proud of what i have aacomplished and im doing better than expected and told me i could even a few pounds! lol.. over my dead body. all my labs are ok and i am still free of all my meds and i am grateful of that. the funny thing is dr schauer asked me if i would mind if the pr person for  the cleveland clinic could interview me and use my picture for his lectures and for newspaper or whatever. i was shocked!! my sister said if my head want big enough before it is now!! so they took a few pics and said they will get back to me later. funny huh me a inspiration for others doing the wls never thought about it before but i do work hard! the one thing i cant get ove is all the attention i get from guys now it is sorta funny i was just the girl in the back of the room noone noticed and now to get all the attention?? well hey i like it! its nice to feel noticed! all these feelings that u have to deal with that comes along with the surgery i now see why u need to be prepared. soon i will post new pics after my ps i just got to find the time.. happy new year toa all!!!!!
