Count Down to Surgery

Hello all, I am very new to this site and have been wanting to post but not sure what to post but now I have a problem. I have my surgery scheduled for 07/27/2012 @ 730 am and I must say that I am so nervous. I am excited about the surgery but can't help thinking that something might happen to prevent me from having my surgery. It's as if I don't deserve to be healthier. Has those of you who have already had your procedure(s), remember going through anything similar to this pre procedure?
