wow great guy I have great faith in him, he is so very nice. treated me with respect and gave me dignity that I rarely encounter with medical professionals, I was actually very impressed with the whole medical team at munsen medical centre. I am still waiting for tests and a surgury date but he was able to answer all my questions and he put me completly at ease.he was wonderful and came to see me right before surgury right after surgury and later that day , he was so awesome so gentle and so kind and reachable.when my pain meds where making me nauseated he was around to change them right away. he took my drain out himself to save me a five hour drive for just a drain removal. over all he is my new hero I could not have been in better hands I would recommend him and his whole clinic and team to anyone anywhere.Hands down the best surgeon/person I have met in the medical field.

    Friday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. okay hotel is booked and hubby is on board, babysitters covered just need to start my pre op diet on the 11th, then head down to traverse city on the 22......yeah  Less then a month till I join the losers bench....just not looking forword to the bowel prep though......uggh

phone tag

well the approval is in and the surgeons office has called I would imagine it is with a date but we are playing phone tag....I guess I will be spending monday morning by the phone waiting to get my date I cannot wait that would be a nice christmas present knowing when my new birthday will be arriving.jean is doing great she has already lost a good 30 pounds cannot wait to join her and sandy in the weightloss together...... well merry christmas to me last year being the christmas cow...... yeah!!!!

learning how to relax and yummy yummy tea....

ok after totally spazzing out the other day I needed to totally relax and my great friend shani gave me a recipe for an awesome tea it is called indian tea and it mellows you big time and cool thing you can have it after surgury .... it is 2 cups of water 2 cups milk 2 tsp.cardamum seeds 2 tsp fennel seeds and 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, and two tea bags(orange pekoe) I have never slept so good in all my life as I did last night.I feel so relaxed I am ready to cross my legs and close my eyes and go hummmmmmm hummmmmmm hummmm hummmmmm.......zzzzzzzzz......zzzzzzzz.......zzzzzz
ok better sign off before I fall asleep here on the pc......

okay after arguing with the secretary calling ohip about four times talking to the secretarys superviser about her miserable attitude, they finally faxed the letter it is now in the right hands of the powers that be and I should have my approval by end of next week which will mean a date........finally god knows how long it would be if I had not called.... gotta love red tape skinny secretaries with bad attitudes, and this looooooong process......
