ObesityHelp

Well, I have all the necessary paperwork, and tests completed except for one more hoop the insurance company wants me to have a documented 6 month diet/exercise evaluation done.  Although my PCP wrote a very lengthy letter stating we have been working on my weight since 2004, it wasn't enough for the insurance folks.  So I now wait...I know it isn't long, just time to read...read...try proteins...learn to chew small bites...not drink during meals...cut out the refreshing seltzer water and lemon that I love.  Making sure all my documents have been faxed and stored in my file has been challenging too.  The office staff has gone through a change, and the patients have to do all the leg work to make sure all the t's are crossed an the i's are dotted.  Not the best support, but hopefully that will change with a new receptionist.
