My Story

 

I had RNY Oct 4th 2006 with Robin Blackstone. I am now four weeks out and finally getting my energy back. I was so tired the first few weeks that even though I returned to work I only went back part time. Now it is trying to juggle water and vitamins, protein drinks and excercise into my daily routein. And, oh yes, eating too! That is hardest when you have no hunger and no appetite either.

So now I am begining to actually believe that I will one day be slim. Unbelievable! The weight is coming off fast and steady. I think I am down about 30 lbs from surgery and 10 before that. My clothes are not fitting too well anymore.

I will be going to my one month post op on Monday 11/6 then to support group. I have been going to support group since January. I cannot tell you how much I have gained from going. It is the best source of first hand information from our weight loss peers.

So that is my story for now.
