Long time no see
on July 25, 2011 7:11 pm
Wow, i havent been on here in a long time. I hit an all time low on the scale today and wanted to document my loss on O.H. Health Tracker. So, here it goes..... (drum roll please!) Starting weigh (309) today's weight (134!!!) TOTAL LOSS (175LBS!)
Can you believe it? I feel like i may be a tad skinny at this weight, but i feel like i will bounce back and not stay this tiny. For now, it feels good to say that i am one-thirty-four! lol

A little update. I was declined my plastic surgery. ALL OF IT! Boooo! Now, i dont know what i am going to do. I am out of work on disability for my spinal disease. My chronic pain runs too much of my life. Blah! Now i need to win the lottery. Our credit is no bueno, so somethings gotta give!. Anyone want to buy my nip and tuck?? Pllllease!

I am living life to the fullest, even though i am having some health issues. At least i am living life sinny and not fat. That feels great! Its so funny to fun into people from my past. People who havent seen me in a while cant believe its me. Thats such a great feeling!

So at 134 lbs, i wear anything from a size 2 to a size 8. Its really weird how different companies have such different size guidelines. My work slacks are a size 2 and my juinor jeans are a 6/8. I guess juniors run smaller b/c teens havent had the trauma of having babies damage their little bodies. lol  Now i wear a size medium top. So, before surgery i was a 24-26 and wore a xxx shirt, now i am much smaller. TO be honest, my goal was to be 175lbs and a size  12/13. Being thin and able to wear ANYTHING feels good!
.

My skin needs some work, but it honestly isnt horrible. (maybe i will post some photos sometime) My tummy is bad, but is controlled w/ a small tank top or camisol. Its an easy fix. My arms could use a lift, but honestly. I dont know if the scars from surgery would be worth it. My breasts are another story. They need help... FAST! I was a DDD and now am in a B. (a small B) They are like empty ballons :( so sad. I need a lift and a fill stat. lol

Anyway, this is my update.
Thanks for all your love and support!
Jen

I am skinny!

People refer to me as a stick. Can you believe that? i cant! I am begining my plasitc journey. I am a size 2/4 ... started at a 24. OMG! I weigh 138-140... i started at 309.... WOW! I was a bra size "E" and now i am a small "B". Yikes!

I dont know what else to say... i love where i am. I DO need implants and a tummy tuck. I am 30 lbs below goal and am please with that incase i gain a little weight in the future. I imagine that i have 5 lbs of tummy skin. I I think that i could use an arm lift and thigh lift, but will probably just do a tummy tuck and implants. I follow a few people on YouTube and have ehard about Dr. Katzin. He specializes in WLS patients and works with insurance companies. You cant find many doctors that will do the leg work and get insurance coverage for you. From what i have heard, his office does it all. I am excited. I go in and see him on the 17th of Jan. Just 3 days before my 30th bday!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words on my new photos. I love hearing people sending me love.
Good luck on your journeys and feel free to ask me any questions that i could answer to help you on your journey!
Hugs! Jen

Goal! Should i make a new lower one?
on July 20, 2010 10:09 am
I hit my first goal last month and now i am in the process of acheiving my secong goal. My first goal was 155, i am now 151. I never set a goal w/ my doctor, but his nurse said that i should push twards 155. Once i hit 155, i said that i wanted to get to 150. I am just one lb away from that. I am not doing much to lose. I was diagnosed w/ a spinal disease so i have not been working out... to be honest i havent been eating well either. So, i continue to loose (slowly). At my one yr appointment my doctor said that he wouldnt be suprised if i got into the high 140s. My question is... what should my goal be? I am not to the maintaing point. My body is still dropping the lbs. Where should i aim to be?
I am 5'9"
Start weight 309lbs
Today 151lbs (17months post op)

To those who are similar heights.... where did you set your goal?
thanks in advance!
Jennifer

7 months out
on December 17, 2009 8:50 pm
Lets see... I am now 7 months out.... down 138lbs since my pre op diet and down 104lbs since surgery. I have had no complications. My hair loss has slowed. I am able to eat more and find myself snacking. Bad, i know. I need to change my habbits and get back to the gym after Christmas. I was working out 5 days per week and now i am down to 1 day a week. I have another 18 lbs to lose to get to goal. I am also interested in getting a tummy tick and breat lift and augmentation. My breast used to be a DDD and are now a c. They look like empty balloons :(

I started my journey wearing a size 23-24 and am now in a size 8-10.
I feel wonderful... Have tons of energy and couldnt be happier w/ my decision to have weight loss surgery.
I hope to post another blog in 2 months that i hit my goal!?
