HI Pat, Good to hear that you are doing great after surgery. I have been living on "No Sugar Added Carnation Instant Breakfast (chocolate)" with Skim Milk. 3-2ounce meals a day. I go back to dr. on Aug 8. So far I have dropped 8 pounds, plus the 10 I gained with the surgery. I also use the Edge high protein ready to drink shakes to suppliment the water. I think every doctor is different in what they recommend for the first 2 weeks post op. I think I will have some broth, that sounds good. (That creamed soup sounds VERY GOOD.) So glad to hear everything went well for you. I have been slower getting up speed, but I will catch up. Lower Back Pain has been my challenge. Take care.
